Green Signs with Chautauqua Hurricanes (ABA)


Kassim GreenDUNKIRK, New York – Kassim Green (6-4, 240, SF PF, Philadelphia, PA, USA, Sherman International) has signed a professional contract with Chautauqua Hurricane  in New York, USA.  Prior to signing, Green was recognized for his performance at tryouts.  ” He is extremely athletic and simply physically strong. He is another guy who came to our tryout and dominated,” stated General Manager, Tawan Slaughter.

Green will now play for the club under the guardianship of head coach Jerome Moss for the 2015-2016 season. The club represents the American Basketball Association East Division (ABA).

Participating in the 2014 iBall Pro Combine, Kassim ranked 8th overall in shuttle (3.9 secs) and ranked 14th overall in multi directional movement (7.9 secs), according to stats by MAXOUT. He also ranked 16th in Vertical Jump (31 inches).  He had averaged 5.7 points per game. He had total points (17), value (17), total rebounds (11), total shot made (7), total shot taken (17).

Kassim started his career in Dobbin High School, located in Philadelphia PA. Then he played NJCAA league for Monroe College in Rochester, NY.  He completed his collegiate career with Cheyney Wolves ath the Cheyney University of NCAAD2 .

  • Scored 380 points in Dobbins
  • Ranked top 100 in country for all JUCO prospects
  • Achieved highest points (24) against Kings College

Naylor signs with BCT Alexandria (Romania)


Donia NaylorALEXANDRIA, Romania –  Donia Naylor (6-2, 160, SG SF, District Heights, MD, USA, Slammers) has signed a professional contract with an European club in Romania. She will play for the club BCT Alexandria in Romania-Liga Nationala League under the guardianship of head coach Madalin Piperea.

In 2015, Naylor was #1 over all iBPC players in 20 statistical categories including; points per game (20.2), player value (18.0), Rebounds per game (9.3), defensive rebounds per game (7.0), and free throws taken (9.7) and made (6.7).   Naylor also ranked #3 in overall Athletic Ability according to Stats by MAXOUT. Naylor led Team Debaptiste Funeral Homes, Inc. to the iBPC Semi-Final where she logged an impressive 20 points and 12 rebounds.

Naylor’s collegiate career was with the Bulldogs of Bowie State University (NCAAD2). She played for two seasons (2013-14 and 2014-15) under the direction of Head Coach Shadae Swan. 

Other career highlights include:

  • Averaged 13.7 points, 11.4 rebounds and 1 assists per game
  • During her senior season at Bowie St., Naylor was named All-CIAA
  • Naylor was nationally ranked in key statistical categories, including; Offensive Rebounds (5.5-6th), Defensive Rebounds (7.0- 36th), Total Rebounds (15th) and Double Doubles (16- 20th).

Donahue Returns to Europe, signs with Hvidøvre (Denmark)

– Kevin Donahue (6-1, 190, PG SG, Pawcatuck, CT, USA) signs a pro contract with a professional Club in Europe.  He returns to play for the Hvidovre Basket Club in the Denmark professional league under the guardianship of head coach Patrick Maher.

In 2014, Donahue lead Hvidovre to the Division øst Championship and, thereby, moving the team up to compete in the Higher category.

Participating in the 2014 iBall Pro Combine, Donahue ranked 2nd overall in assists (3.3 per game) and led his team to the combine semifinals.  He also ranked 4th overall in both shuttle (3.5 secs) and multidirectional movement 6.9 secs), according to stats by MAXOUT.

Donahue’s collegiate career was with the Assumption Greyhounds at the Assumption  College of NCAAD2 where he played for last five seasons under the direction of Head Coach Matt Mahar. He achieved total 1249 points by finishing his stellar career in the college.  

Some of his other career highlights include:

  • Scored 1,714 points at Stonington High.
  • Averaged 14.1 points, 2.5 rebounds and 1.4 assists per game in Assumption  College during 2012-2013 season.
  • Averaged 16.3 points, 3.9 rebounds and 2.0 assists per game during 2011-2012 season.
  • Poured in 29 points, his career highest points against Southern NH University.

Merchant Returns to Europe, Signs with Piacenza Basket Club (Italy)


John-MerchantITALY – John Merchant (6-0, 180, SG, Middletown, NY, USA, Alessandro Maurro ) has signed a professional contract with Piacenza Basketball Club in Italy.  He returns to Italy to play under the direction of head coach Alessandro Mambretti.

In 2014-15, Merchant played with Legnano Knights Castellanza in Serie A2 League (Italy). He was the first American player to ever sign with this club.

Merchant is a former top performer at multiple iBall exposure opportunities.  At iBPC 2013, Merchant led the tournament with 3.5 steals per game.   Merchant was also named to the All-Star Team at the 2013 iBall FOCUS Camp and claimed the #1 Overall Athlete at the 2013 iBall Pro Combine where his lateral lane shuttle and multi-directional movement were both best at camp according to professional training staff at MAXOUT.

Merchant’s collegiate career was with the Dowling Golden Lions where he played under the direction of head coach John Mateyko.  Over his career, he averaged an impressive 14 pts, 4 reb, and 2.4 assists in NCAAD2.

Cook Agrees to Terms with BK Barsy Atyrau (Kazakhstan)

KAZAKHSTAN – Ryan Cook  (6-3, 195, PG SG SF, Clinton, MD, USA, Raivis Usackis) has signed a professional contract with an Asian Club  in Kazakhstan. He will play for the club BK BARSY ATYRAU in Division I under the guardianship of head coach Eduard Skripec. He has recently played at  BK Kaspiy Aktau in Kazakhstan Division I.

In 2014, Cook starred for Basketball Club Caspiy Aktau in Kazakastan,  In 2013-14, Ryan was awarded the title as the best player in the league and received Bosnia and Herzegovina League All-Imports Team Award.  After graduating from the University of Maryland -Baltimore County in 2013, Cook was named First Team and All-Basketball-I.Q. Team Selections at the 2013 iBall Pro Combine scoring 16.0 points and 2.5 steals per game which ranked No.2 in the iBall Pro Combine.

Quick highlights of Cook’s career:

  • Ryan was named the ‘UMBC Most Valuable Athlete’ at The University of Maryland Baltimore County (“UMBC”) (NCAA D1), American East All-Tournament Team, and 2nd Team All-American East Conference.
  • He led statistics by averaging an impressive 15.4 pts, 6.1 reb, 1.9 ast., and shooting 38.5% from 3-pt range.

Bell Ink’s First Pro Deal with Club Deportivo Enrique Soler (Spain)

MELILLA, Spain – Joe Bell (6-6, 220, SG SF PF, Secane, PA, USA, Michael Walker, iBall Management) signs his first pro contract with with a Spanish club where he will play for the Club Deportivo Enrique Soler (C.A.M. Enrique Soler)  . He will play under the direction of Head Coach Javier Nieto and in Spain’s EBA League for the 2015-16 Season.

During a tour through China, arranged by Bell’s agent, Michael Walker of iBall Management, Bell was made aware of and accepted the offer.

Early in Free Agency action, Bell led Team Goodfellas to an overtime win to advance to the tournament semi-finals and was awarded 1st Team All-iBall Pro Combine in May 2015. At the Pottstown, PA Event, Bell was a tough match up for defenders and led all players in Free Throws Attempted (19.0).  According to stats by MAXOUT, he also was #1 in multi-directional movement (5.74 sec.) and was the camp’s #3 Overall Athlete.   In gameplay, Bell ranked 5th overall in points per game (12.7) and 6th in overall in both player value and average rebounds per game.

Bell’s collegiate career was with the Mountaineers at the Mansfield University of NCAAD2 where he played for last four seasons under the direction of Head Coach Rich Miller.  Joe Bell finished his stellar career as the Top scorer of all time in Mansfield Basketball History, shattering the previous record with his 1904 points achieved in 4 seasons.  He averaged 18+ points over 106 games, distributed 202 assists, grabbed 98 steals and recorded 78 blocked shots during his four seasons in Mansfield.

Some of his other career highlights include;

  • Ranked 6th in scoring in PSAC during 2014-2015 season.
  • Named Daktronics All-Atlantic Region second team honors during his career.
  • Earned National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) All-District.
  • Averaged 16.3 points, 5.5 rebounds and 2.3 assists per game.
  • Was 47.7% shooting from the field, 39.6% shooting from from three-point range and 70.4% free throws.
  • Ranked 15th in the Nation in Scoring among players in NCAAD2.
  • In 2005, was one of 8 players Selected to Live the Dream Foundation’s  Skoolz USA where he toured to London, England to compete against European Junior National Teams.
  • Bell attended Pottsgrove High School where he played for Head Coach Scott Palladino.

Breshanan Signs with Asociacion Club Jairis (Spain)

ALCANTARILLA, Murcia – Jamie Bresnahan (6-1, 165, SF, Edina, MN, USA) signs a pro contract with a professional Club in Spain.  She will play for the Asociacion Club Jairis and will compete in Liga Feminina 2 for the 2015-16 season under the guardianship of head coach Victor Verdu.

At the 2015 iBall Pro Combine, Jamie averaged 4.7 points and 4.3 rebonds per game. Her assist-to-turnover ratio was among combine leaders at 1.5. Bresnahan also shot 100% from the free throw line.

Some of his career highlights include:

Breshanan’a collegiate career was with the Mavericks at the Minnesota State University where she played 112 games.

In 2014-15 season:

  • Breshanan played 25 games in this season.
  • Accumulated 135 total rebounds, 53 assists, 21 blocks and 14 steals.
  • Had an average of 7.9 points and 5.4 rebounds per game.
  • Logged 25 minutes a game, she had shot 45% (80-177) from the field and 39% (14-36) from three-point range.

In 2013-14 season:

  • Grabbed 165 total rebounds (5.7 per game) and 22 blocks
  • She had an average of 6.9 points a game while hitting 81-of-176 shots from the field…Shot 39%(13 -of- 33) from behind the arc.

Breshanan ended her career at MSU averaging 7.8 points and 5.6 rebounds with a percentage of almost 43% from the field.  She is one of the 13 players who has achieved 800 points and 500 rebounds in her time at the University.

Moore Signs First Pro Contract with Bradford Dragons (England)

BRADFORD, England – Nick Moore (6-6, 200, SF PF, Erial, New Jersey, USA) signs a pro contract with an English club where he will play for the Bradford Dragons Basketball Club under Head Coach Chris Mellor for the 2015-16 Season in England. The Dragons currently play in the English Basketball League (EBL) Division 1.

Moore recently led all players in 13 Statistical Categories at iBPC 2015 on his way to being awarded 1st Team All-iBall Pro Combine. While starring for Team MAXOUT, some of his key stats included: Points per Game (17.5), Valoration (20.5), Offensive Rebounds per Game (6.0), Defensive Rebounds per Game (5.0), Free throws, and Total Rebounds.

Some of his career highlights include:

  • Under the guardianship of Head Coach Jason Crafton, Moore earned back-to-back All-CACC Honors at Nyack College.
  • 2014-15 Nyack College Team MVP.
  • Nick tallied 761 points, 392 rebounds and 69 blocks in two years at Nyack.
  • In his senior season, Nick was nationally Ranked (62) in FG% at 53.3% , Nationally Ranked (47) in Offensive Rebounds Per Game at 2.96 ORPG.
