HVIDOVRE, Denmark – Kevin Donahue (6-1, 190, PG SG, Pawcatuck, CT, USA) signs a pro contract with a professional Club in Europe. He returns to play for the Hvidovre Basket Club in the Denmark professional league under the guardianship of head coach Patrick Maher.
In 2014, Donahue lead Hvidovre to the Division øst Championship and, thereby, moving the team up to compete in the Higher category.
Participating in the 2014 iBall Pro Combine, Donahue ranked 2nd overall in assists (3.3 per game) and led his team to the combine semifinals. He also ranked 4th overall in both shuttle (3.5 secs) and multidirectional movement 6.9 secs), according to stats by MAXOUT.
Donahue’s collegiate career was with the Assumption Greyhounds at the Assumption College of NCAAD2 where he played for last five seasons under the direction of Head Coach Matt Mahar. He achieved total 1249 points by finishing his stellar career in the college.
Some of his other career highlights include:
- Scored 1,714 points at Stonington High.
- Averaged 14.1 points, 2.5 rebounds and 1.4 assists per game in Assumption College during 2012-2013 season.
- Averaged 16.3 points, 3.9 rebounds and 2.0 assists per game during 2011-2012 season.
- Poured in 29 points, his career highest points against Southern NH University.
