Kevin Donahue (6-1 / 185 cm, PG, Pawcatuck, CT) is making an impact for Hvidovre Basket Club in the Denmark professional league.

Donahue scored 1,714 points at Stonington High and was an 1,000-point scorer at Assumption College.

Participating in the 2014 iBall Pro Combine, Donahue ranked 2nd overall in assists (3.3 per game) and led his team to the combine semifinals.  He also ranked 4th overall in both shuttle (3.5 secs) and multidirectional movement 6.9 secs), according to stats by MAXOUT.   He now leads Hvidovre Basket Club, which is located in a suburb of Copenhagen, in a host of statistical categories.

Donahue graduated from Assumption with a bachelor’s degree in 2012. He remained there to pursue a master’s degree in business and play his final year of basketball eligibility. He completed his master’s degree in 2014.  “I emailed them my résumé and basketball résumé (career stats, game film, highlight tape) and they got back to me to offer me the position,” Donahue said.

“I am very thankful to have this opportunity to continue playing,” Donahue said. “ I am also very thankful for all the love and support I received from my family and friends to pursue my dream of playing professional basketball.”
