Inge Starring for Bakken (Denmark)

ingeSemaj Inge (6’4 G, Camden, NJ, Blacktop Management) made the biggest move of his career by signing with the most successful team in the history of the Danish League in The Bakken Bears. The 14-time Danish League Champions which includes the last 4 years will also play in this year’s edition of the FIBA Euro Challenge.

Earlier this year, Inge participated in SMAA’s Overseas Selection Team Tryouts in collaboration with iBall United and the Lake Michigan Admirals. Inge shined, and at the end of the tryouts, he was one of the finalists for camp MVP.

Shortly thereafter, Semaj signed with the Island Storm of Canada’s NBL. In the 2013-14 season, Inge averaged 8.3 ppg and 3.8 rpg while playing only 21 minutes a game. A standout at Temple University for 4 years, Inge is considered a young veteran in international basketball as he had stints playing in professional leagues in Costa Rica, Czech Republic and Iceland.
